01

Information should lead to a decision

The value of a transport alert is not the amount of text it contains, but whether it helps someone decide what to do next. MetroRadar 2.2.0 improves the detection of closed stations and affected M1 and M2 sections, cleans up WTP announcements and handles route-impact checks more carefully.

The onboarding, alert list, map, My Routes and profile now share a more consistent interface. It is easier to move from a short notification to the full incident, its source and the exact area affected.

  • clearer announcements and M1/M2 section matching,
  • a more consistent map, alert list, saved routes and profile,
  • safer matching between an incident and an everyday journey.

02

More reliable passenger reports, less noise

A passenger at the platform can notice a problem early, but one unconfirmed report should not automatically alarm the whole city. Version 2.2.0 improves duplicate detection, looks for independent signals and limits spam. Uncertain reports are not automatically placed on the map or sent as push notifications.

Notification preferences are organised by transport mode, line and severity. Quiet hours make it possible to keep useful alerts enabled without receiving irrelevant notifications at the wrong time.

03

Widgets, accessibility and account controls

Android widgets can refresh in the background even when the app is closed, while tapping a widget or alert opens the correct screen. It is a small technical improvement that saves time during a real disruption.

The update also improves large text, screen-reader support, small displays, dark mode and reduced motion. Account deletion now includes identity confirmation, sign-out requires confirmation and activity history is easier to manage.
