Disruption notifications — how to configure alerts that genuinely help
Configure MetroRadar notifications for routes, stations and transport modes without creating unnecessary noise.
01
Start with the route you really travel
Save the section you actually use rather than following an entire line. Add the origin, destination and important interchange so MetroRadar can distinguish a relevant event from one far away.
If morning and return journeys differ, save both variants separately.
02
Add favourite stations selectively
A favourite station is useful when you often start, finish or change there. Following every stop can create duplicate alerts for the same incident.
A practical set is the origin, main interchange, destination and one backup station.
03
Choose modes and check system permissions
Enable only the modes you use: metro, tram, bus, SKM/KM or WKD. Keep official announcements for confirmation and community reports for early signals.
If an alert is missing, check iOS or Android notification permissions, battery restrictions and the selected routes and modes inside MetroRadar.
- On iOS, check Settings → Notifications → MetroRadar.
- On Android, check app notifications and battery restrictions.
- In MetroRadar, review routes, stations and active modes.
